Melvin is a conductor recognised for his wide-ranging collaborations with ensembles across diverse musical genres. These include the BBC Philharmonic, City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, Manchester Camerata, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra, London Voices, National Youth Choir of Great Britain, and Orchestral Qawwali Project, among others. He currently serves as Music Director of the Northern Film Orchestra and is a Tutor in Conducting at the Royal Northern College of Music. Full biography.
